UNHCR already declared it is a baloon with no air!

    Dismanirie Thursday, 26 January 2012 08:59 AM

Why not? Because it has no intention of implementing the recommendations?

    Godaya Thursday, 26 January 2012 10:25 AM

For what purpose LLRC report was produced ?

    DEEP Thursday, 26 January 2012 10:37 AM

UNHCR is surounded by crooked NGO's with own agenda. We Sri Lanka or any other UNHCR member country does not need to bcome victims of this crooks and LTTE backers.

So,, does this mean that we have to get ready for economic sanctions in the next few years to come?

    Raigams Thursday, 26 January 2012 12:49 PM

Why do you hide the facts of LLRC Report? Is it because you do not want to implement the recomendation of LLRC?

For those of you who thnk that international human rights watch groups are balanced and unbiased. Wake up. Western powers have been using human rights abuse as a means of beating developing nations for half a century now. This doesn't mean that we shouldn't concentrate on minimizing abuse in our country. More power to the journalists and let the most crooked politicians wither and die (we need some politicians though we know that all of them are crooked). Screw any foreign nation that tries to meddle with our internal affairs. Btw...for the ignorant...60% of the UN's officials are US candidates (and before you argue...they only provide for 25% of the UN budget)

GLP will tell like this now and later withdraw his statement by telling he never said so. Joker

In Sri Lanka commissions are only taken!

    Nodrog Friday, 27 January 2012 01:59 AM

At times like this when our country is being bullied and blackmailed by others whose hands are not clean either and who have hidden and not so hidden agendas on issues we should be handling locally we should stand by and support not cast aspersions on our integrity which only lends wings to the Int'l community allegations. No country is perfect!

The LLRC report will also share the fate of APC report! What an amount of poor tax payers money are we wasting on various Reports...and committees etc.

    raj Friday, 27 January 2012 02:51 AM

    is LTTE behind your reason?

    TMA Friday, 27 January 2012 04:22 AM
