Girl molested in school van

A seventeen year old school girl studying in a girl’s school in Kandy had been molested on Wednesday by a school van driver inside the van in Ampitiya, Kandy, the police said.

According to the Kandy police Women and Children’s Bureau the girl who is studying in the GCE Advanced Level class had been molested inside the school van while she was returning home from school.

The driver of the school van, a father of two, had been arrested in connection with the incident.
