Funeral service commenced

The funeral service of the FTZ worker Roshan Chanaka has commenced at the Galloluwa Christian church a short while ago.

The body had been placed at the church since today morning due to the large crowds thronging to pay their last respects. Western Province Minister Prasanna Ranatunga said that although there are no special security measures taken for the funeral, all police personnel have been removed and have been replaced by army personnel to secure peace in the area.
