If so, why does he want a Parliamentary Select Committee?
First he should implement the 13th Amendment, and deal any shortcomings later,as they arise.
But I suspect he does not have the political will to do so.
He will keep on prevaricating,until the next elections - parliamentary & presidential - come up.
The PSC is another time buying exercise & all know it.
TNA will not be entrapped by it.
His overall desire is to remain in power at any cost.

Krishna's great-grand children will be visiting SL to talk on the same topic before MR will give anything, and thats why no time frame was agreed upon. Krishna is playing to the gallery otherwise a time frame would have been discussed. After all when WW2 was over didn't the US, Britain and Russia hammer out a deal in a very short time and that dealt with the future of not one country but entire Europe.
