Prices of petrol and diesel will increase from midnight (2nd) according to the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation. A liter of 90 Octane Petrol will be increased by Rs.10 while a liter of Auto Diesel will be increased by Rs.3, a CPC official said.

The price of a litre of Kerosene will be increased by Rs. 10. The new price of 90 Octane Petrol is Rs. 125, Rs. 76 for Auto Diesel and Kerosene Rs. 61.

A global price hike was expected with the raising unrest in the MENA region (Middle East and North Africa) in the first few months of this year. (Daily Mirror online)

Yes in Aussi you are paid about 300,000 Sk Ruppes per month where as in Sri Lanka they are paid about Rs 15,000 - 20,000 per month.
