 A woman who allegedly sold her two week year old child for Rs.20,000 was taken into custody by the Madolsima police. The suspect a resident of Roberiya had allegedly sold her fourth child to a woman from Trincomalee.

 

A police team under the leadership of the OIC of Madolsima is conducting further inquiries to arrest the woman and to trace the child taken away by her.
