Former Army Commander Sarath Fonseka who was extremely weak is recovering, United National Party (UNP) deputy leader Karu Jayasuriya said after visiting him yesterday.

“Mr. Fonseka has been subjected to a rigorous routine from one court case to another a couple of days ago he had to be at three courts on the same day,” Mr. Jayasuriya said.

Mr. Jayasuriya said that the doctor attending to Mr. Fonseka said he needed fresh air, a proper diet and the exercise that he has been denied at the prison. “He is not allowed an exercising machine at prison and that is affecting his health,” Mr. Jayasuriya said.

Don't worry he never had a health problem,he went there just to sleep in a better bed & food, Fonseka , What will be your next demand a AC. Karu has nothing to do, lot of free time so he took the membership at Welikada to visit every day and say something to appear in news. Karu is a failed leader and too old for politics.

Just to emphasise that SF was not put before a kangaroo court. SF himself put loads of soldiers on court martial. If that was a kangaroo court how come these soldiers are in jail just like SF who was into so many wrong doings. S-i-Law is still hidng???!!!

Lankaman, You don't have to be a rocket scientist to understand what did SF do wrong. Listen to the speeches he made at the Election. Whnare is his Son In law. As law abiding citizen why does not he ask him to appear before the court if he is so innocent.

A War Hero should not treat like this. Forgiving is a real humanity.
