The price of one kilo of Prima wheat flour has been increased by Rs 4.10 with effect from today, the Bakery Owners Association told Daily Mirror.

    We're too dependant on wheat flour as a nation that does not even grow wheat. Food shortages are likely to happen so we have to encourage our people to switch to local produce as much as possible. Lower Carbon footprint (food miles) as well. Who knows, when less people are dependant on flour, the prices will also hopefully go down...
