Father and daughter murdered in M'gala

A father and daughter were murdered and the mother was critically injured after they were stabbed by a gang last night in the Kumukkana area in the Monaragala District. A person suspected to have been involved in the brutal murder has been arrested by the Police.The Police are yet to confirm a reason or motive for the murders. The Monaragala Police are conducting further investigations into the incident. (Pix and Tex by Nayanajeewa Bandara)

Whatever punishment brought back won't have an effect if politicians shield those who are found guilty, How many times we saw that in recent times.. Law should be untouchable to any means.
