The priority of the new United Peoples Freedom Alliance government formed after the April 8 General election will be to abolish Executive presidency, the government said today.
According to the government, a series of constitutional amendments will also be introduced that will strengthen parliamentary powers and make the 17th amendment more effective among other constitutional measures. (S.A.J)
