Escaped Papua New Guinea national arrested

A Papua New Guinea national, who was in police custody for staying without valid visa and had escaped from the Mirihana detention centre, was arrested from Eththukala area in Negombo this evening, police said.The suspect was handed over to the Mirihana detention centre again.

Probably a human smuggler who has been enlisting candidates to flee to PNG and then to Australia.. May be he was involved in the "Boat People" trade... DO not just deport him, extract infromation from him... he may lead to Bigger SHARKS
