One solution to keeping elephants away from rail tracks is to place Wooden honey bee hives near tracks ,elephants are afraid of bee sting and will not come near the tracks,may be some unemployed youths can also make a living.This technique is used by tribals in india to keep elephants away from human habitations,the other is relaying the tracks through other palce ,elephants belong to jungle we are trespassers.
