Former LTTE leader Kumaran Pathmanathan alias KP said that his priority is to assist the war affected Tamils through his humanitarian agency and that focusing on an Eelam State was not the need of the hour.

Speaking to a Jaffna based TV station KP stated that he intended to assist the war affected Tamils through the North Eastern Rehabilitation and Development Organization (NERDO) and that the Tamil Diaspora should assist the Tamil population in the North and East. (Daily Mirror online)
