Drug offenders to be transferred

Minsiter of Rehabilitation and Prison reforms DEW Gunasekara told Daily Mirror that steps were being taken to transfer about 4000 prisoners convicted of narcotic offences soon.

He said the prisoners concerned would be transferred to proposed Weerawila, Pallekele, Thaldena Rehabilitation Camps. (Sanath Desmond)
