DPF warns UNP on national list

The Democratic People's Front (DPF) has warned that it will be forced to counter react if the UNP reneges on its deal with the party concerning national list slots in parliament.DPF National Organiser Praba Ganesan said that if the UNP 'betrayed' the party and if there was a breach of understanding between the DPF and UNP, on the national list slots then it would be compelled to counter react.

It is obvious that all those political parties joined the UNF only for the purpose of getting their 'pound of flesh,' although, initially, they tried to show the public that they were in it 'to fight corruption and save democracy.'
