DNA report in Seya’s murder submitted to Court

The DNA report in the five-year-old Seya Sadewmi’s murder case has been submitted to the Minuwangoda Magistrate’s Court by the CID today.

The case is to be taken in court on October 2. The main suspect of the murder, Dunesh Priyashantha alias ‘Kondaya’ confessed to the sexual abuse and killing of five-year-old Seya Sadewmi and was remanded till October 5.

Another two suspects including a 17-year-old boy, arrested in connection with killing of Seya in Kotadeniyawa were further remanded till October 2 by the Minuwangoda Magistrate. (Tony Karunanayake)

Why on earth are they still keeping the poor school boy in custody if he is not guilty? heard from news that police had assaulted the boy for three days... may be to cover the mistake threatening the poor boy to say yes... bloody dirty police... that is why no respect for those police fellows. you will pay for the thing... the god is there to give the punishments.... people will curse the police and their families only... hate police to bits.

THis is not fault of police, its fault of the court and magistrate. Dismiss that stupid magistrate at once for proven incapacity, bring a civil claim against the court.
