Failing in the World Cup and scoring consecutive zeroes in the IPL must have been the qualification!

    Godaya Tuesday, 19 April 2011 01:03 AM

Can be a good captain if he can control his emotions on field.

Bad choice aney. Cant talk proper english even.

    mendis Tuesday, 19 April 2011 01:44 AM

He is a very good player,no second thoughts for that, But a captain is a person who should be able to stay calm at the grounds specially in bad times, we SRI LANKANS are people who can stay calm in any situation, So Sanga is the perfect match.

A leader needs patience and he does not have that at all, we saw him captaining the 20/20 and he was screaming to everyone. The purpose of Sanga's step down getting wasted & sure SL fans will regret.

Best wishes for our 11th Captain, lot of things to fine tune, first of all don't go behind our political leader, and dont play cricket according to their advice

    shanaka Monday, 18 April 2011 11:25 AM

Now no brains in the SL cricket.not on the field and off the field. This new selection committee just acting as puppets to the minister and to MR.bad days are starting for SL cricket.

    I Hussein Tuesday, 19 April 2011 12:59 PM

No one is J with this guy as he got nothing but luck on his side & political support. Dilshan cannot even come close to Sanga & Mahela even in his dreams.
