I am not a Rajapakse fan, I hate him as most of them who has commented here.
But everyone has to understand that country is more important than hatred toward president.
He is correct on the above statement. Did UN or any other so called human rights organizations came forward when LTTE were killing innocent civilians?
Lets work as one nation for the sake of our future.
Makara do you understand the weight of trouble SF has created just because to gain a political advantage?

I am being living in the US for the last 20 years, I know exactly what you mean and you are totally right President. However, China, Russia, India and some other countries already know exaclty what you have said. US and its Wesern double standards do not have powers anymore with collapsing economy and living standards here. We have enought in our plates here so US and allies should not interfere in the developing world.

Our President is right. Riduan Isamuddin, Indonesian terror suspect that US arrested moved to notorious Guantanamo Bay detention camp in Cuba in an extraordinary rendition flight in 2003 is in detention for eighth year.
So, before advising Sri Lanka government to charge LTTE suicide bombers and mass murders held for just two and half years, the US should act accordingly and set an example for others to follow.

. nothing new there.
america wants sl to charge or release detainees but it took them bloody years to charge the guantanamo detainees that is after torturing most of them like water boarding sleep deprivation etc.
now is that double standards or what.
may be one could asked blake that when he visits.
