Five Indians and three Sri Lankans were today sentenced to death by the Colombo High Court after they were found guilty of transporting heroin from India to Sri Lanka.
The counsels appearing for the eight said they would file an appeal for the guilty. Counsel Anil Silva PC, Sharafi Mohideen and Srikanth appeared for the guilty.
