The court is independent of the government. It is not the government that suspended the LEN. It was a case of contempt of court, and publishing lies and lies.

According to my idea Court should issue order permanently close down lake house news paper. I think this order should issue before 10 or 15 years ago.

Very good decision. Media freedom shud not be misused. Journalist shud also hv ethics what they preach to others. Everyone knows who is behind lanka e-news. The news was bogus & crap far fm the truth. Now bring the editor & give him 100 lashes in public.

good move by the courts.They publish very harmful articals on sri lanka to tarnis its image. Looks like LEN has some grudge against MR and GOTA and destroying the Sri Lnakas image very badly.
