A clash has erupted at the Colombo University between two student groups of the management faculty eye witnesses said. The riot police armed with teargas and water cannons have been called in to bring the situation under control.
Speaking to Daily Mirror online, officials from the University said that the clash had erupted due to an exam but refused to divulge further details. (GS & ISA)

Why only blame the students? Students are a product of the society they live in. Using violent tactics against opponents, has becomes the norm of our society ... so, we need to change the entire rotten system, rathar than blame the students.

This is a continuation of the clash that began last week. As I see it, officials should not close the faculty or postpone the exam, due to this ... only those students responsible, should be punished or suspended.

Do not provide the higher education free of charge. Get them paid for their education. The move will make them more concern on their education over unnecessary things.
