A clash has erupted between two groups at a protest against the arrest of General Sarath Fonseka at Hulftsdorp a short while ago. Stones were being pelted between both the groups and iron rods were also seen being used. Poles were seen being unloaded from a car to use in the clash. (YP & TFT)

You can see poles and sticks wielding govt goons in front of police-karayas but no action but if an opposition guy has a foot ruler - they will arrest him.

I don't condone Clashes or disruption of a Peaceful protest by any party! But people must remember the Law is the Law for all, Contesting the Presidential election does not make one immune!

I hope a really good crow turns up for the support of SF and beat the hell out of all the thugs trying to distrupt the protest! We need to show that we are not afraid of the scare tactics used by the government.

A civil disobedience campaign has to follow with organised boycott of all state institutions and bodies.
SLT, Mobitel, Insurance Corporation, Sathosa and only minimum payments on water and Electricity bills.
