What an indictment on our Justice system when the alleged criminal has defied all legal protocols and evaded giving even a statement to the police on a murder charge for so many months so far!

CID report is delayed ,. Therefore court should proceed on ex-pate hearing.

If and when he gives a statement, he will say that Bharatha shot him in the head and later shot himself

From when did the CID start working in conjunction with Criminals and to act according to their time-tables and wimps and fancies?
Which God to tell and cry?

And also it was in last Sunday papers that Duminda visited D M Jayaratne in hospital in Singapore. If he can do that what medical condition prevents him from giving a statement. What sort of a miraculous statement CID expects from him? a statement that incriminates himself!!!
