Those who are averse to slaughtering of animals for its meat has never taken any steps to ban liquor at least on the festival days, which is the root cause for the plight of ever increasing not only motor accidents but also domestic and other kinds of man-made accidents.

Recently many rules have been implemented but never thought about drink and drive. In many countries its zero toalarance for drink and drive as they put themselves and others life in danger.

Harsher sentenses to be delivered to Drink Driving so that it can be a Double Edged Sword which ruins the lives of those related to the victims and also the ife of the drunked and his families.

In Canada they charge a fine of $1000/- if the driver is driving after a drink and in some countries they suspend the license for a period of 3 months.... but is Sri Lanka drinking and driving seems be a heroic. drunk drivers are driving during the day as well even tho cops are smelling them in the night.
