Bumper bonus for SL cricket team

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has decided to pay the Sri Lanka cricket team a special bonus of USD 100,000, as a gesture of goodwill for winning the Asia Cup 2014, the SLC said.

Issuing a statement, SLC said that the ExCo of SLC, which met today to discuss the player contract payments following the meeting of the Office Bearers yesterday with the player representatives.

Following a lengthy discussion the ExCo made the under noted decisions:
 
T20 2014 Tournament in Bangladesh

a)      To pay a participating fee of USD 500,000/- to the team

b)      To make a further payment of USD 250,000/- in the event Sri Lanka reaches the final

c)       To pay an additional USD 250,000/- if the Team wins the finals

World Cup Tournament 2015

a)   To pay a participating fee of USD 750,000/- to the Team Members

b)   To make the following payments in addition to the above

       i)   On entering the semi final USD 250,000/-

       ii)  On entering the final a further sum of USD 250,000/-

       iii) On winning the final a further payment of USD 750,000/-

As a gesture of goodwill towards the Team’s performance in winning the Asia Cup SLC decided to pay the Team a special bonus of USD 100,000/-
 
Ladies Cricket

T20 2014 Tournament in Bangladesh


SLC decided to pay the following incentives to the Ladies Team

a)      On entering the Semi Finals USD 50,000/-

b)      On entering the final an additional USD 25,000/-

c)       On winning the Final a further USD 25,000/-
