All Ceylon Bakery Owners' Association (ACBOA) Chairman N.K. Jayawardena today said the decision was taken on the consensus of the ACBOA executive committee due to the increased wheat flour price.

The new price of a 450 gram loaf of bread is Rs.50

In 1994 the main promise was Rs/=3.50 a loaf of bread.That CHEAP PROMISE worked and fellows came in to power,now it is more than Rs/=50.00.
