As per Minister Basil We have surplus rice, also there are very high technology to make quality bread out of rice floor, why the goverment can not motivate such project to provide lowe cost bread to the nation- or rather than import floor- import weat seeds for very low coast and srat up some mills to make floor I had seen many mills in middle east - today price of floor in KSA- is SR 1.20 = SLR 40 , SOME TIME LESS DURING RAMADAN AND OTHER OCCASIONS, THIS IS POSSIBLE IN UAE , KSA AND QATAR WE SEE, SO WHT SRI LANKA CAN NOT DO SUCH MOVE?? STILL WE TRYING TO PUT LOAD ON PUBLIC WITHOUT ANY FEASIBILTY IN OUR HAND.
