Typical Sri Lankans, Some body with a sick mind kills helpless beggers in the city, some accuse the govt, some question Buddhist values, others point out that 50000 innocents were killed in the last year. As we see the only people who are not guilty are Christians, Tamils or Muslims !

Slave Island Police must be held responsible. If murder takes place in a High Security Zone few yards away from Temple Trees, then what would be the security of the ordinary residents in this area as well as the rest of the Country. This begger often frequents the Commercial Shed. He hangs around the vicinity. If this was allowed to happen, it means the Slave Island Police have let murderers and underworld gangs conduct themselves as they wish. Hon. Secretary of Defense must seriously attend to this action and take immediate action to overhaul the Slave Island Police and discipline the present officers.
