Baduraliya Hospital reopened

The Baduraliya Hospital which had been closed for six days due to a strike by the doctors was reopened for treatment this morning.

The hunger strike staged by UNP parliamentarian Palitha Thewarapperuma and several other local politicians demanding the reopening of the Hospital was also called off this morning.

Parliamentarian Palitha Thewarapperuma was admitted to the Baduraliya Hospital and later transferred to the Nagoda Hospital.(S. Madawala)
