My grand father is late Mr Jinadasa Liyanage, his life long friend was this great Sinhalese scholar Kalasuri Arisen Ahubudu. May you attain Nibbana.
You will forever remain in the hearts of many Thomians taught by you during 60's & 70's & of the entire population in this country.
the past memories are cherished a lifetime.

I had the great opportunity be a pupil of him at S. Thomas' College Mt Lavinia. He was a great teacher whom we really looked up to. His simple life style was a great example to all of us. May he attain Nibbana

I still recall listening to his never ending supply of stories, particularly the stories about Udara. Great teacher. Two generations of Thomians have to thank him for the high standard of Sinhala at STC.

As an old Thomian I salute this great teacher.His patience and perseverance in teaching us Sinhala is beyond the ordinary.He along with his lifelong friends, Mr. Jinadaasa and Mr. Kopparahewa formed a triumvirate of great teachers. Many of us are fortunate to have been taught by this great scholar.
