The change of lifestyle has to come from the top. The ministers firstly have to set an example. Night car races, gala functions to pamper ministers, fleet of fuel guzzling vehicles for use of ministers are going to be the bane of this country.

World Climate Change Summit in Doha, Qatar may have adopted it and Sri Lanka may have ratified it. But the parliamentarians continue to lead the extravagant lifestyles. So stop preaching Buddhism in parliament. No research is required to assess Minister Nimal Siripala De Silva's lifestyle and all parliamentarians in the government side do not care what world bodies adopt.
