I can only visit my husband once a month, unless a special request is made, Anoma Fonseka told Daily Mirror online. She however added that MPs and lawyers of the former Army Commander have regular visits to the Welikada Prison.
While confirming media reports that her husband did consume polsambol and rice for breakfast like the regular inmates she added that no special request had been made pertaining to Sarath Fonseka’s medical conditions yet.
This verdict given by the Court Martial is unacceptable as my husband is innocent and further legal action will be sought to secure his release, Anoma Fonseka said. (Daily Mirror online)

More majority will give strong arrogance thinking than normal thinking . Our Sri Lankan people should be vigilant at the voting., that powerful opposition should be made to have a good democratic country.
DM Saturday, 02 October 2010 12:07 PM

Nayana, Saturday, 02 October 2010 01:10 PM
This is disgraceful and an embarrassment for the country. Fonseka is treated like an imprisoned terrorist. The Rajapaksa regime has shown just how vindictive and ruthless it can be, towards anyone who stands up to them, or dares to run against them, which is basic democracy. The Rajapaksa's have made sure there is no opposition, no vocal media, and the people are afraid of making a stand. Democracy is gone, dictatorship is in. Are you ready for generations of it, Sri Lanka?
