Alleged brothel in Kollupitiya raided

Six females and two manageresses of an alleged brothel house situated in Kollupitiya were taken into custody by the Colombo Crimes Division.

According to the police the alleged brothel was run under cover of a ‘massage parlor’

The suspects are reported to be residents of Ja-ela, Yakkalamulla and Opanayake.

Police said the manageresses were remanded till the August 22, while the six suspects who are alleged to have been females sex workers were released on police bail.
