Prathithaban Tuesday, 17 January 2012 09:37 AM
Dear readers now we Tamils are living in the Paradise of Sri lanka. I do not see why TNA wants India to involve. We have got all freedom, facilities, everything. What else we need? India pl go back to yr country & mind yr own business. TNA if u r not happy with what we Tamils are enjoing now, u pl pissoff. TNA leaders pl keep in mind you are not the representative of Tamils. You are represent Tamil diaspora, so we do not want you to shread yr crocodile tears on beahlf of Tamils. Pl let us stay in harmony with Sinhalese. Pl do not bring any power devolution, we do not need that, we are more than happy ever.
buffaloa citizen Tuesday, 17 January 2012 09:37 AM
Sinhalese were silent???? Is it when they bought "sinhala only act"? Is it during 1960 riots or when it happened again in 1977 or again in 1983? Did the LTTE arise due to the repeated racism and criminality of the sinhalese? What is wrong in tamils asking to administrate their own areas in their own language within a united SL? Would you be happy if tamils come to Matara, Galle and Hambantota and administrate those areas in tamil? Typical Sri Lanka buffoon.
kalu sudda Tuesday, 17 January 2012 10:42 AM
It is the duty of the SL goverment to request that India live up to the promise that Tamil Nadu be made into an independent country so all Tamils and Tamilans can live together and kill themselves.lol
EDMUND Tuesday, 17 January 2012 10:40 AM
WHY THE HELL THE TAMILS CANNOT LIVE AMICABLY WITH THE SINHALESE COMMUNITY AND OTHER COMMUNITIES. THE TAMILS CAN LIVE AMICABLY IN COLOMBO AND OTHER PARTS OF THE COUNTRY BUT THEY WANT A SEPARATE STATE IN THE NORTHEREN AND EASTERN PROVINCE. WHAT A JOKE!
zorro Tuesday, 17 January 2012 10:47 AM
The diaspora should keep off the local politics, because they decided to live somewhere else. It is the duty of the Srilankan Tamils to decide on these questions. However the democracy should be reinstalled in the country to find a solution to ethnic questions, but the present regime is just interested in maintaining their grip over Sri Lanka by any means, even by insinuating a new nationalistic trends to stay in power. Unfortunately the majority in both sides is susceptible to this nationalistic polemic.
Ajith Tuesday, 17 January 2012 10:51 AM
Neel, you are stupid to say, Tamils never loved the country... By making this statement, you are discriminating.. There are people in Tamil as well Sinhalese, who are patriots and who are not. We had both Sinhalese and Tamils taking up arms....This is the time, to build the bridge between communities so that our next generation will live in peace and united...Let us mind our words and actions now, so that we receive the right harvest in the future....
Chin-Sri Lanka Tuesday, 17 January 2012 11:05 AM
OK. We are ready.
We know how to deal with Indian Tamils . We know you have big mouths but no brains.
Yep, we are relative of North Indians. They asked us to give same treatment here also. That is why they helped us to s..... your terror monger idiots.
Wara Tuesday, 17 January 2012 11:22 AM
Who is this idiot. If you so love Nothern Tamils, what the hell you are doing in India? Give a try, We'll give you all the privileges which were given to Praba and the clan.
RajasH Tuesday, 17 January 2012 08:57 AM
This is just Krishna worshipping untill he catch the flight back to India
Nodrog Tuesday, 17 January 2012 11:39 AM
Prabhu, its idiots like you that keep the hatred alive. Havent we all had enough of war? As for your threat about the 'next generation' settling scores, I guess they will go the same way your hero prabakaran also went.
Nodrog Tuesday, 17 January 2012 11:41 AM
Prabhu...so full of hatred! Not going to get you anywhere man.
Happy war over Tuesday, 17 January 2012 11:48 AM
we are all happy to live with sinhalese brothers. we have good life in colombo and can go anywhere and do business. I see many anti-sinhala comments by my tamil brothers which i am ashamed of. after so many hard years fighting we must learn to forget and now make better life for our chidren at least after we suffered so long. if we continue hating we can never progress and our children will curse us.......up to you my brothers!
Engineer Tuesday, 17 January 2012 11:51 AM
clearly the TNA leader hasn't head of the saying "history is written by the victors"
Almighty Tuesday, 17 January 2012 11:52 AM
This ethinic crisis will not be solved even by 3012........
Chuti Tuesday, 17 January 2012 02:56 PM
If you can't trust Sri Lanka, go begging all aver the world for your survival .. Not for the Tamils..
BOOBEE Tuesday, 17 January 2012 02:04 AM

Nodrog Tuesday, 17 January 2012 02:06 AM
No devolution! Tamils, Sinhalese, Burghers, Muslims, we are all Sri Lankans and must learn to live as one without and segregation.
NAK Tuesday, 17 January 2012 03:51 AM
The problem is nothing short of eelam is acceptable to TNA and the LTTE section of the diaspora
fanam Tuesday, 17 January 2012 05:20 AM
Keep licking Krishna and India after finishing a begging overseas tour. You guys only know to go around with a negative frameset taught to you by the dispora. Until you start to feel like Sri Lankans and fight for your community even we general public will not mind you.
Prabhu Tuesday, 17 January 2012 05:40 AM
How you will leave, BY KEEPING ONLY SINHALA ARMY? BY GRABBING ALL LANDS OF TAMILS? Ha Ha!
I swear on god, we the next generation wont leave this matter like this.
You came from Northern Part of India to Srilanka. Tamils are there before you come there. Dont forget that...
Try to do the Justice and live peacefully, otherwise, get paid in future.
Indian Tamil from Madurai, India
Prabhu Tuesday, 17 January 2012 05:42 AM
Just read what they are asking? dont jump into conclusion. Only dailymirror.lk is writing a bit neutral, all other newspapers from srilanka are vomitting venom. Try to read otherside, I am sure, you sinhalas doesnt know the truth at all. Read news other than your staterun one.
trueman Tuesday, 17 January 2012 05:52 AM
if there is no TNA, who's carrying LTTE's ideology now, this country would be a better place of course!
Banduka Tuesday, 17 January 2012 06:34 AM
TNA does not represent the majority of peace loving Tamils.
Ramesh Tuesday, 17 January 2012 01:59 AM
When Sri Lanka became a part of India?
buffaloa citizen Tuesday, 17 January 2012 07:08 AM
Their is no country in the world where devolution is not practiced. China, India, Pakistan, USA all have vibrant devolution and automous regions and states within a united country. The modayas in this country do not understand that devolution of power to the tamils is the bridge of understanding and respect the sinhalese can present to the tamils for future generations of unity, trust and amicable living.
ravi Tuesday, 17 January 2012 07:45 AM
The tamil people have voted for them in the north and the east of the country, what els you want.
Lanke Banda Tuesday, 17 January 2012 08:12 AM
Take them with you & keep them there for ever. This is the biggest & most sincere favor India can do for which Majority of the Lankans will be ever greatful to you & India.
Neel Tuesday, 17 January 2012 08:27 AM
Crezy,, Why India,, ?? Sri lanka is a Republic,, If you don't know that don't stay in the parliament.. Why a special place to tamils.. How about Sinhalese and Muslims..
You need to learn to live together,, If Tamils can live in Colombo why not Sinhalese live in Jaffna? You Tamils ,,never loved the country... You only speak of your share....Even before the Independence you deceived the British and got what you wanted...Still Sinhalese never acted against you.Took advantage of the silence of Sinhalese
