Water supply interrupted for several areas in Colombo

Water supply for several areas of Colombo has been interrupted due to a power failure at the Ambatale Water Treatment Plant, the National Water Supply and Drainage Board said.

Accordingly, water supply for Kolonnawa Urban Council area, Moragasmulla, Rajagiriya, main road and all byroads from Rajagiriya to Nawala junction have been interrupted.

The Water Board said that the power restoration work in progress.
