Water cuts in Colombo & suburbs on Saturday

The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) announced 10-hour and 16-hour water cuts in Colombo Municipality and Kotte suburbs respectively on Saturday.
Due to distribution pipeline improvement work under Greater Colombo Water Supply Improvement project, water supply will be interrupted for 10 hours from Saturday (18) 8 pm to Sunday 6 am in Colombo 13, 14 and 15.
In addition, water supply will be at low pressure in Colombo 11 and 12.
Meanwhile, due to transmission pipeline improvement work, water supply will be interrupted for 16 hours from Saturday (18) 2pm to Sunday 6am in Kolonnawa Municipal Council area, Rajagiriya, Moragasmulla, Obesekerapura, Bandaranayakapura, Nawala, Koswatta and the main road from Rajagiriya up to Nawala Open University.
“We Regret the inconvenience caused,” the NWSDB said.
