“In the Kalutara district, Agalawatte, Bandaragama, Matugama, Panadura, Horana, Beruwala and Kalutara have been identified as high risk areas,” he added.
The Army Chief also said the Manning Market and Peliyagoda fish market would also be given priority in the vaccination drive.
Moreover, he said no adverse complications had been reported so far from individuals who were vaccinated.
Meanwhile, the Army Chief said administering the vaccine to foreign officials at embassies and high commissions in the country commenced from yesterday at the Army Hospital. (Sheain Fernandopulle)

Being a resident from Katana I can confirm that the PHI confirmed to wait until the respective GS’s are informed of the vaccine roll out. The GS is presently unaware of any plans. So I am uncertain what being tagged as “high risk” actually constitutes here if communication channels aren’t kept open.
