He handed over the application to join SLPP. Then he was nominated as the party leader. Now his brother Basil says that non of the applications from the SLFP has been accepted so far! But MR is a member of SLPP. We all saw him taking the membership from JL P and thereafter MR was giving the membership to few others. As far as I know SLPP has no agreement with UPFA/SLFP nor SLPP has any seats in the parliament
