The UNP should play its second innings politics after the recent political crisis carefully and diligently since there is a little left for it, newly appointed Non-Cabinet Minister of Telecommunications and Digital Infrastructure Ajith P. Perera said today.
Mr. Perera said this after assuming duties in his Ministry this morning.
“We have got a second innings to play after the political crisis. We should play it safely and effectively and see that we get a third innings to play as we don’t have much time left,” the Minister said. Asked whether the number of members in the Cabinet will be increased in the future, the Minister said he is not aware of anything about it.
“The main function of my Ministry is to prepare digital policies and laws and I will work towards it and see that Sri Lanka is updated with the latest digital technology,” he added. Claiming his edibility to handle the subject of digital technology, he said his first degree was in science though he had also studied law. (Yohan Perera)

Its a batting wicket you have, hope the batsmen make good use of it. You need to be careful of mystery bowlers. Ensure the batting order is correct. If you don't, not only will you loose the match, the spectators will abandon you. And that will not be good.

Whatever the innings you play there is a sure way of winning next election. Appoint SP AND GET RID OF RW as party leader as people generally hate robbers.

Yes Ajith Make sure your ministers have a big score, even if the captain retires due to Injury, make sure no LBW's and no caught behinds, and certianly no stumpings behind the wicketand the must be substantial when Sajith gets 6 wickets for no runs and MR is caught for no runs, and jarawansa gets out hit wicket and all out for half your 2nd innings score Sajith opens the next test as captain
