Two persons have been identified as COVID-19 infected following Rapid Antigen Tests (RAT) conducted among 300 individuals, who were not wearing face masks in the Colombo city today.

Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said those infected persons were identified during a special operation.

He said the infected were directed for treatment centres while their contacts have been sent for quarantine.

The police media spokesman said legal action would also be taken against those who were not wearing face masks. (Darshana Sanjeewa Balasuriya)

As you speak there are tourists who roaming and more to come. So called RAT is worthless. Just harassing locals and giving free pass to the foreigners. Way to go!!!.
