Two more COVID-19 fatalities were reported today bringing the death toll in the country to 149, the Director-General of Health Services said.
A 55-year-old male from Colombo 15 was pronounced dead at Mulleriyawa Base Hospital due to Covid-19 related pneumonia on December 11 while another male aged 66, who is a resident of Imbulgoda, succumbed to the virus on admission to the Ragama Teaching Hospital due to severe diabetes and Covid-19 pneumonia on December 10.
