Two persons aged 55 and 32 years old have been killed by a group at Sullipuram in Jaffna, Police said.
Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said the incident occurred on Friday night and investigations revealed that a group comprising with 21 suspects involved in the double murder.
The police arrested 12 suspects in connection with the incident, he said.
investigations are underway to arrest the remaining suspects.
The arrested would be produced in the Mallakam Magistrate's Court. It was revealed that a personal dispute among two parties led to the tragedy.

Police should bring disciplined life to Jaffna peninsula . The majistrates should deal with such problems with a firm hand.Recruit more Tamil police officers in order for the public to be at ease and give information to catch thieves.
