Two women were killed and two others including a three year-old child injured when a three-wheeler collided head on with a cab at Madola on the Ratnapura-Avissawella Road early this morning, Police said.
They said the accident occurred when the three-wheeler tried to overtake another vehicle.
The deceased aged 70 and 40 were residents of Thuruvila, Erannagoda.
The injured were admitted to the National Hospital, Colombo.

Three wheelers should be replaced with light cars; tax concession for three wheel owners to buy a "light car" in exchange of wheelers could be a good option.
