A serene environment has been created throughout the country for voters to cast their votes freely at the Presidential Election tomorrow, the President's Media Division said.
As advised by President Maithripala Sirisena, the police and the security forces including the tri-forces have made special arrangements to ensure the security during the election period.
The President requested all voters not to be deceived by false propaganda and rumours.
In the same way, the President pointed out that it was the prime responsibility and duty of all citizens to cast their votes for any candidate, whom they prefer.

One of the most peaceful elections in 15 years. Sadly we may loose this freedom if the wrong choice is made!
