find out who is the politician behind this sand racket. The death of the policeman who had to die at this young age has to be revenged. Only catching the driver of the tipper is not sufficient

It was a big racket in Jaffna too, large crates created in private lands of the size of football pitch. These sand mafias were powerful and ruthless. Thanks to recent government and the tightening of the Jaffna region by the security forces this has greatly reduced. However these mafias operate with impunity due to the support received from politicians and some part of the security higher ups who make good money out of it.

Thuggery is in rampant. In Sri Lanka what prevails is not Democracy, gross indiscipline. Are these police officers un-Armed?

This is the second Policemen to die under Tripper. God knows what happened to the earlier arrest.

For a tipper driver to behave in such a high handed manner you can just imagine the confidence he has that whoever is behind this racket will somehow or another protect him. This reflects badly on the President and the manner in which Parliamentarians are controlled. How long is this racket being going on for and for how long will it continue to do so. Despite the media highlighting these crooks every day on TV news, nothing seems to be done about it. Such a sad state of affairs Sri Lanka is in.
