Three arrested for jewellery theft

Three men including two siblings were arrested by the Mirihana Police today on charges of robbing jewellery worth Rs. 15 million from a jewellery shop in Nugegoda. The stolen goods were recovered in a garbage dump, police said.

The suspects were identified as residents of Nawala and Dehiwala. They were remanded till November 4 by the Gangodawila Magistrate.
