Businessman Thirukumar Nadesan, who was arrested by the FCID this morning in connection with a controversial land in Malwana, was released on bail by Pugoda Magistrate D. A. Ruwanpathirana.
He was released on a cash bail of Rs. 50,000 and two sureties of Rs. 1 million each.
Mr. Nadesan is married to Nirupama Rajapaksa, a niece of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa. (Tony Karunanayeka)

Nirupama is CBK's supporter and working in SLFP, against MR since 1989. As I know, she refused to attend MR's political rallies and got defeated in last election. During MR period he removed her organizer post and gave it to Namal.
