When former magistrate Thilina Gamage was leaving the Gangodawila Court premises, some of his supporters had prevented the media from taking his picture by covering the vehicle in which he left.
It was also reported that the ex-magistrate had got into the vehicle by the rear entrance of the court premises to avoid the media.

The question arises whether if any of these "supporters" were to stand in front of this despicable magistrate for committing a criminal act, what makes him not obliged to be lenient on them. Shame Sri Lanka Shame.

How can he be bailed out when it is a none bailable offense Those who obstructed the journalists are not his supporters as he is not a politician but his paid servants. As a judge he should be ashamed to get a gang of hired thugs. And so is our judiciary. via DM Android App

What nonsense. Shiranee did not have any supporters whatsoever. They were the lawyers of the Bar Association who came forward for the injustice done to her.

So this is the caliber of some of our -ex- magistrates.
