Fisheries Minister Douglas Devananda said Tamil people should come to terms with reality that it would not dawn because rooster crowed only.
He made these remarks at a function in Jaffna recently. His remarks were communicated the media by the ministry’s media unit in a communique.
The Minister said socio -economic condition of Tamil would have been better had they acted with this reality in mind. He also said the Tamils would not have faced the current predicament had the Indian Peace Keeping Force remained further at that time.

When the “Indian Peace Keeping Force” was raping and killing the Tamil Civilians in the North it was Douglas Devanda and his Terror Group who were helping the Indians in gathering “Intelligence” about where beautiful Tamil women were residing. He is such a person ,the whole of Tamils in the North and East despises him. He can only travel around in the North with his “bodyguards”.

Douglas Devananda should have been sent to the International Criminal Court long time ago for “ Assisting The Indian Army in The Killings , Abductions, and Rapes of Tamil Civilians in The North and East of Sri Lanka “. It is surprising he is still a freeman in Sri Lanka and holding a ministerial position in the Rajapaksas government.
