The report of the Experts Committee appointed to look into the Sri Lanka-Singapore Free Trade Agreement (SLSFTA) has highlighted the agreement has been rushed without proper consent of stakeholder institutions, President Maithripala Sirisena said today.
The President expressed these views when he received the report of the Experts Committee at the Presidential Secretariat this evening.

Shall we know the qualification, experience and foreign exposure of these so call expert? Even a country has the FTA with any other country, it should get approval from import and export controller from both countries.

Who was the witness to the signing of this agreement. We you hypnotised? Why didn't you ask for the details? If you did and still didn't get it, why did you preside over the signing of it?
